WLRN Radio is the oldest FM station in South Florida and a National Public Radio (NPR) member station. From 5 in the morning until 8 at night, WLRN 91.3 FM is the first choice among South Floridians who keep abreast of world events through NPR's Morning Edition and All Things Considered.WLRN also offers a staple of talk shows including The Diane Rehm Show, Topical Currents, and Talk of the Nation. Garrison Keillor's A Prairie Home Companion is a staple of WLRN's weekend line-up, and can be heard each Saturday evening at six, with a repeat broadcast Sunday mornings at eleven. Garrison's program was broadcast live from downtown Miami's Bayfront Park Amphitheater this past March 1st, and over six thousand people showed up to hear the latest news from Lake Wobegon.
