The Clinics were founded by Marianne Splitter, M.A., CCC-SLP, a speech and language pathologist certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), and licensed to practice in Florida. The Miami Fluency Clinic has served South Florida since 1988. The Broward Fluency Clinic, located in Davie, was opened Spring 2002 to serve the needs of fast-growing Broward County. The Clinics provide comprehensive treatment of speech and language disorders, incorporating unique treatment programs including: the CAFET (Computer-Aided Fluency Establishment Trainer)Program for the treatment of stuttering; Scientific Learning Corporation's "Fast ForWord (R)Family of Programs"; and the Lee Silverman Voice Treatment -- for Parkinson's Disease and other neurological disorders.
