| FCTS's statement of purpose says: "Through commitment to Biblical faith, a systematic study of the Bible, and scholastic development, we shall seek to facilitate the process of creating Christian leaders who will be characterized by contagious faith, personal commitment, professional competence, strong leadership, religious authenticity, sensitivity to social issues, and ability to minister in multi-cultural communities. We acknowledge in all our programs that Christians need to grow 'into full maturity in Christ.' In order to fulfill this goal, students need to develop pastoral, research, organizational, analytical, and articulation skills. For this reason, we shall incorporate in our curricula those disciplines needed for both academic and professional competence and personal growth. |
