Dr. Leonard Cherdack, O.D. received his undergraduate education from the University of Miami. He continued his education at Pennsylvania State College of Optometry where he received his B.S. and Doctorate degree in Optometry. Since 1961 he has been a practicing Optometrist with an extensive list of achievements. Dr. Cherdack has been an active member of the American Association of Optometry where he has served in the Executive Committee Division of Education and Manpower, the Committee of Paraoptometric Personnel, and as a Delegate to National Commission of Health Certifying Agencies. He participated as a lecturer at the A.O.A. Congress and as a part of the National Paraoptometric proficiency Examination Development Team. He is also a member of the Florida Association of Optometry in which he has participated in the Legislative Committee and has been honored with both the "Optometrist of the Decade" in 1988 and "Optometrist of the Year" in 1968.In 1968 he founded the Vision Care Techni
